Prayer Ministry

8am –8pm

We have an active group of "prayer warriors" who have committed to pray for you and for your needs and concerns. All it takes is a single phone call to the Church office (908-879-5322) or to Bev Congdon (908-879-7776) to activate the prayer chain and 20+ people will be praying for you all day long! We also utilize the internet for our prayer ministry and you can access the Prayer Chain by email to BeverlyCongdon@msn.com. We are a "house of prayer" and we encourage you to take full advantage of our Prayer Ministry.

Moms-In-Touch

Mondays 9:00am Chapel

This is a Chester arm of a national organization designed for parents of children in the public school system. Moms gather together to pray for their children, for the teachers and administrators, and for the school system itself. You do not need to be a mom to join this ministry.

Prayer Seminars

As Announced

In an on-going desire to continue the process of growing disciples, one of the primary areas of focus is the area of prayer. In order to more fully understand and participate in prayer, we need to study what God's Word tells us about prayer. These seminars are designed to be an on-going opportunity to do just that. As announced, we will gather together and learn about an aspect of prayer and then put that aspect into immediate practice. These will be informal and brief teachings, followed by opportunities to commit to what we have just learned.

Prayer Breakfast

Thursdays 7:00am Chester Diner

This is a weekly gathering of those people who wish to commit themselves to prayer and communion with God. During these sessions we share from the treasures of the Word for direction and guidance, share our lives with each other, and pray and seek His face. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land!"
